Meet Your Audiologist

I’m Dr. Jamie Loschen, and I’ve lived on Martha’s Vineyard for more than ten years. After spending much of my career commuting off-island to provide hearing care across Cape Cod and beyond, I opened Island Hearing Services so I could serve this community full-time — and spend more time with the people (and goldendoodle, Gordon) who make this island home.

I earned my undergraduate and doctoral degrees in audiology from the University of Northern Colorado and have more than a decade of experience working in private practice and ENT settings, as well as serving as a clinical education specialist for a major hearing aid manufacturer. My focus has always been on practical, patient-centered hearing care that supports real quality of life.

As a local, independently owned practice, Island Hearing Services allows me to offer flexible scheduling, individualized attention, and long-term, relationship-based care for my neighbors here on the Vineyard. I take the time to understand each patient’s daily listening needs, concerns, and goals so I can tailor recommendations that truly support their hearing wellness.

Outside the clinic, you’ll often find me enjoying the island’s beaches, exploring new trails, or walking with Gordon, who is convinced every path was made just for him.
