About Our Hearing Center
Island Hearing Services was opened to provide the people of Martha’s Vineyard with expert, compassionate hearing healthcare services. Our owner and Audiologist, Dr. Jamie Loschen, is a long-term resident of the island and saw a need for patient-centered hearing care in the community. She opened Island Hearing Services to address that need and spread awareness about the importance of hearing health.
Island Hearing Services offers a range of audiology services, including hearing tests, hearing aid fittings and programming, hearing aid repairs and cleanings, custom earmolds, and tinnitus management. Meet Your Audiologist
Dr. Jamie Loschen earned her Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech Language Sciences as well as her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado and she is certified with the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association. Originally from Denver, she moved to Martha’s Vineyard a decade ago. She has worked at various clinics throughout Cape Cod and recently opened her own audiology practice.
Dr. Loschen has clinical experience in both private audiology practices and ENTs. Before opening Island Hearing Services, she worked as a clinical education specialist for a hearing aid manufacturer, traveling throughout the east coast to educate and train hearing care professionals. Dr. Loschen loves helping her patients reconnect to their loved ones and environments through better hearing. She enjoys getting to meet new people each day and getting to know them.
Dr. Loschen has enjoyed getting involved with the wonderful community of Martha’s Vineyard. There are so many unique personalities and programs offered, she finds it incredibly rewarding to a part of. Outside of work, Dr. Loschen loves going to the beach, traveling, baking, hiking, and hanging out with her goldendoodle, Gordon. She recently took a pottery class at Featherstone Center for the Arts and plans on taking Portuguese classes offered by ACE MV.

Dr. Loschen is honored to be a part of the Edgartown and Martha’s Vineyard community. She is involved in various non-profit organizations to better serve her community and help those in need. She is active in the aging community and regularly provides educational services on healthy aging.
